Joe Holbeche is a photographer based in the greater Boston area, specializing in landscape and wildlife photography. Joe began his exploration of photography by hiking throughout upstate New York with his dog, Sunnie. Joe traveled to South Africa, South America, and much of the United States to pursue adventure and photographic art. Apart from creating dynamic and emotionally evoking landscape art, Joe is turning his focus to creating art that tells important fisheries and ocean conservation stories. Joe has worked on some cutting-edge fisheries research projects combining his love for photography, science, and the ocean while pursuing a Marine biology career. Currently, Joe is pursuing a Masters's degree in Marine Biology, researching the post-release mortality of shortfin mako sharks.
